EV Battery Service & Health Checks
High-Voltage Battery Assessment by EV-Qualified Technicians
The high-voltage battery is the most valuable component in an electric or hybrid vehicle, and its condition determines range, performance and resale value. Our EV-qualified technicians carry out battery health checks and high-voltage system servicing using manufacturer-level diagnostic equipment, in a workshop equipped and certified for high-voltage work.
A battery health check reads the pack's state of health directly from the vehicle's battery management system — the actual measured capacity, not an estimate from the dashboard range display. You get a plain-English report of the battery's condition, which is equally valuable if you are keeping the car, selling it, or buying a used EV and want the pack checked before you commit.
What we check
Battery state of health (measured remaining capacity)
Individual cell balance and voltage consistency
High-voltage system fault codes and stored events
Battery cooling and thermal management system
Charging system operation — AC and DC rapid charging
High-voltage work is only ever carried out by our EV-qualified technicians with the correct rated equipment. Call 01462 420999 or book online.
Frequently asked questions
I am buying a used EV — can you check the battery first?
Yes. A pre-purchase battery health check tells you the pack's measured condition before you commit — the single most important check on a used electric car.
Are your technicians qualified for high-voltage work?
Yes. EV and hybrid work is only carried out by our EV-qualified technicians using correctly rated equipment, with timed isolation procedures on every high-voltage job.
